I am Maureen Adoma Mireku, a proud Fante lady from Bantuma Akyinmu in Elmina in the Central region of Ghana. I was born in Cape Coast to Mr. Frederick Mireku Tawiah of blessed memory and Miss Faustina Baidoo. In a family of six (6), I learned to give and earn the respect of all that are due it. I had my Basic education at Montessori School in Cape Coast. After my basic education, I was privileged to attend Mfantsiman SHS, Saltpond for my senior High School Education. In Mfantsiman SHS, I served as the President of Ghana Methodist Student’s union (GHAMSU). As president, learnt and taught the virtue of humility and honesty, determination as well as a dint of hard work and perseverance and these has guided me to date, I as well made leadership by example my hallmark. I believe strongly in the need to treat others as I would have them treat you. From Mfantsiman Girls’, I attended the University of Cape Coast where I graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. After my bachelor’s degree, I continued in the same university for a Master of Commerce Degree in Finance.
I aspire to be a motivational speaker to young ladies, encouraging them to be studios and focused. These I believe cannot be achieved unless determination, perseverance as well as a dint of hard work is in place. I am a lady who believes in honesty and the need to inspire others to greater heights I am guided by honesty, equity and fairness.
