GRASAG-UCC

GRADUATE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA

UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST CHAPTER

President's Welcome Address

Mr. ACHIRE ADAM
President

The Achire led administration which spearheads every activity of GRASAG-UCC as part of a continuous practice of this Association is poised to make positive changes. As an association, we set out to create an organization that is transparent and open to discussion. We are poised to place GRASAG-UCC on a firm path that will participate dispassionately in areas of well-considered policy frameworks and discussions that will consistently benefit all members of the Association.

Our academic year’s action plan has been centered on research and human capacity development. We understand it is our obligation to assist in the development of our association’s human worth or resource and to encourage research in a variety of methods, in accordance with the Association’s goal, which is; “to motivate and resource members to complete their academic program on time.” Let us continue to follow the right protocols and strive to make the most of our life.

I implore all graduate students, especially our dear freshers to visit the GRASAG-UCC website for access to various webinar series by both GRASAG and SGS. These are important resources for your research and will offer insight into various topics such as referencing, literature review, and data analysis.

Colleagues, it is also important to note that, the depressing hassle of securing accommodation on campus has heightened with rising demand; a situation not befitting of Graduate Students. It is my belief and that of my administration that there is no such better time to commit to ending this perennial challenge than now. We are committed to thinking outside the box and with your support, ameliorating this challenge to offer better solutions for graduate students. GRASAG-UCC remains steadfast to the welfare of Graduate Students and will require the support of all in making this semester a fruitful one. I entreat all to feel comfortable in reaching the office for any assistance or clarification as we will be at your service.

To this end, I welcome all Graduate Students to the 2022/2023 academic year and wish you all a productive year. We pledge to leave legacies that our successors will be proud of, and we believe there is more to be done. Thank you

Servant Leadership.
